San Jose, California mayor greets Iglesia Ni Cristo on its 104th Anniversary and 50th Year in the West

(Eagle News) –San Jose, California Mayor Sam Liccardo congratulated the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on its 104th anniversary since it was first registered in the Philippines, and its 50th year of its foreign mission.

In his letter dated July 27, 2018, Mayor Sam Liccardo sent his best wishes to all the members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo or Church of Christ and wished for it continued success in the future.

“It is my great pleasure to congratulate Iglesia Ni Cristo on its 104th Anniversary and the 50th Anniversary in the Western Hemisphere,” his letter read.

“I join your entire congregation in celebrating this very proud milestone for Iglesia Ni Cristo. Your church’s presence in our city contributes to what makes San Jose exceptional.  We appreciate the church’s commitment to its families, neighborhoods, and community. I send my best wishes to the church and for continued success,” he said.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), which at present has some 7,000 local congregations in 143 countries and territories, is celebrating its 104th anniversary and 50th year in the West this July 27.
