PNP names new spokesperson

(Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police has a new spokesperson.

Senior Superintendent Bernard Banac will replace Chief Supt. Benigno Durana, after he was named the new acting director of the PNP’s Directorate for Community Relations.

Banac, who took up BS Civil Engineering in the University of the Philippines, is a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1992.

He served as provincial director of Sorsogon, and was also assistant chief of the  PNP Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies.
