Peace adviser announces resolution of three issues in Oslo Peace Talks

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Office of the President Adviser on the Peace Process (OPPAP) announced that three of the five main issues were agreed upon by the peace panel of the Philippine government and the National Democratic Front (NDF) in Oslo, Norway.

The issues agreed upon by both sides were the following: the affirmation of previously signed agreements; reconstitution of the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees list; and the accelerated process for the negotiation.

According to OPAPP, the panel only took four hours to resolve the issues.
