PCSO’s Cam mulls filing grave threats charges vs the agency’s head

(Eagle News) — Newly appointed Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office board director Sandra Cam on Thursday said she was mulling filing charges for grave threats against the agency’s head.

In a press conference, Cam said this was because she believed he was behind the threats she has been receiving for the past weeks, right after she divulged what she said was the lavish year-end party held by the agency for its employees.

Cam said the party cost P10 million, but PCSO chief Alexander Balutan said it cost “only” P6 million.

According to Cam, one time, she heard one of Balutan’s men ask where her office was, and say “Pasabugin na natin.”

In separate instances, she said she has been receiving threats via calls and text messages.

She said she has already filed a blotter at the Mandaluyong Police Station.

“So very serious ang kanilang ano, kung biro yun hindi yun biro dahil may (closed-circuit television camera) ang lahat ng opisina diyan sa PCSO, magsalita ka nang ganyan, binu-bully na nila ako. So ako hindi ko ‘to palagpasin,” she said in an interview over dzbb.
