(Eagle News) — Expect one to two tropical cyclones this December.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the tropical cyclones may be formed in the Pacific and enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility, or may be formed within PAR itself.
They may hit southern Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao.
PAGASA said a transition toward an El Nino condition was also expected, which means generally below normal rainfall conditions with patches of near-normal rainfall over eastern Mindanao.
PAGASA said a generally near-average to slightly warmer-than-average temperatures were also expected in the country.
