Four people arrested
(Eagle News) — Authorities seized around P3.5 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Thursday, Feb. 7.
The National Capital Region Police Office said the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives also arrested Ruby Balani, Mary Jane Duran, Joshua Salazar, and Mineya Amorine in their joint operation in an apartelle on Araneta Ave. in Cubao.
Confiscated from the suspects were 500 grams of shabu with a street value of P3.4 million and four sachets of suspected shabu worth P136,000.
The NCRPO said the suspects supplied illegal drugs in Manila, Quezon City and Bulacan.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act will be filed against the suspect.
