NPA couple suspected of recruiting for rebel group nabbed in Agusan del Norte

(Eagle News)– Two New People’s Army members suspected of recruiting for their group were arrested on Saturday in Agusan del Norte.

The suspects were identified as Luzviminda Apolinaria, 45, and her husband Aladin Apolinaria, 49.

The couple, who have warrants for their arrest issued by an Agusan del Sur court, were nabbed in Barangay Mahayahay, Kitcharao town in Agusan del Norte at 10:35 a.m.

Criminal charges will be filed against the suspects by three individuals the couple recruited to the NPA but have since surrendered to the military.
