(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte is seen here with soldiers in Marawi City excitedly taking “selfies” with him during his second visit to Marawi City on Friday, August 4, 2017.

Duterte visited the government troops at the Tactical Command Post of the Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF) at Barangay Kilala in Marawi City.

The visit further boosted the morale of soldiers who are fighting remaining Islamist terrorists in the city.

Soldiers are also conducting clearing operations, checking parts of Marawi City that had been occupied by the Islamist extremists who had left numerous booby traps and unexploded ordnances or improvised explosive devices (IEDs)
