DSWD sends 8,400 food packs to Iligan City for Marawi attack victims

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has already sent trucks bearing 8,400 family food packs to Iligan City for the victims of Marawi conflict.

The food packs will be distributed to families affected by the fighting between government troops and the Islamist terrorists, including the Maute group.

In the latest data of DSWD, there are more than 69,000 families — equivalent to 338,000 individuals — who were displaced by the ongoing conflict in Marawi City.
