QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Several areas in Metro Manila were affected by severe flooding which stranded motorists and commuters due to the unrelenting rain after tropical depression “Maring” made landfall over Mauban, Quezon province on Tuesday afternoon, September 12.
The Manila Police District has started conducting free ride operations to help those who were stranded.
As of 2:00 PM, the weather bureau said that tropical depression “Maring” has maintained its strength is now over Rizal-Metro manila area.
Meanwhile, typhoon “Lannie” has slowed down slightly and continues its west-northwest direction.
