Metro Manila has the worst traffic on Earth. That’s according to the popular GSP-based navigation app Waze.
Waze recently released the world’s first “Global Driver Satisfaction Index,” which determined by evaluating the driving experience of fifty million users in 32 countries and 167 metro areas.
The results of the study by Waze showed that on a city level, Metro Manila has the worst traffic – followed by Bandung in Indonesia and Guatemala in Central America.
According to the study, average commute in Manila can last up to 45.5 miutes, the longest compared to 18 other metro cities in the world.
While Manila ranks worst in the app’s traffic index and socio-economic index, the safety index by Waze reported that the Philippines has the safest roads based on number of traffic accidents. (Eagle News Service)
