Light rains expected in parts of PHL as northeast monsoon continues to affect country

(Eagle News)–Light rains are expected in some parts of the Philippines as the northeast monsoon continues to affect the country.

In its weather forecast on Tuesday, Feb. 19, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, PAGASA said, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

In the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters will prevail.

The eastern section of Luzon, on the other hand, PAGASA said, will experience moderate to occasionally strong winds, with moderate to occasionally rough waters.

Slight to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of Luzon and Visayas, where slight to moderate coastal waters are also expected.

Slight to moderate winds, on the other hand, will prevail over the rest of Mindanao.

The rest of Mindanao will also experience slight to moderate coastal waters, PAGASA said.
