Lawyer Oliver Lozano passes away at 77

(Eagle News) — Lawyer Oliver Lozano has passed away, a radio report said.

The report over dzbb said Lozano, known for filing multiple impeachment complaints against former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, died due to a heart attack early Thursday, April 12.

A day before, he was reportedly rushed to the hospital after experiencing weakness in the body.

His remains have been cremated and are interred at the Mt. Carmel Shrine Mortuary Chapel in New Manila, Quezon City.

Lozano also filed a quo warranto petition against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno but this was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
