KUSINA Lokal, a 24-hour non-stop authentic Filipino restaurant, recently celebrated its Grand Opening at Eton Centris Walk, Quezon Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. This Filipino-themed restaurant is owned by the award-winning international actor, Mr. Jacky Woo.
One of their specialty dishes is “Corned Beef Caldereta” according to Chef Jonah, Kusina Lokal’s Head Chef. Aside from satisfying your taste buds, Kusina Lokal is also easy on the wallet with affordable prices.
Some of the showbiz personalities who celebrated the restaurant’s opening were Director Joel Lamangan, Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Ms. Jaclyn Jose, Ms. Chadleen Lacdo-o of Net 25 and Diego of Bubble Gang. The said event is hosted by DJ Apple Chiu of Pinas FM 95.5.
Mr. Woo said that he was inspired to put up this restaurant because of his love for Filipino food. And also, it is his dream to have a Filipino restaurant to be able to bring and introduce Filipino dishes in other countries like America and Japan.
