QC suspends classes on Monday, Aug. 20

(Eagle News) — Classes in Quezon City on Monday, Aug. 20, have been suspended.

A memorandum signed by City Administrator Aldrin Cuna said based on Mayor Herbert Bautista’s instructions, the suspension applies to all levels in public and private schools.

The memo, dated Aug. 17, said the suspension was “to allow  the student community to commemorate the birth anniversary of President Manuel Luis Quezon in fitting localized ceremonies and activities.”

“Appropriate remedial classes and/or additional academic work shall be provided by the faculty,” it said.
