(Eagle News) Heavy rains did not dampen the spirit of Iglesia Ni Cristo members in Tarlac who joined the simultaneous Worldwide Walk to Fight Poverty on May 6.
The participants of the INC walk in Capas, Tarlac braved the downpour and continued their charity walk which will benefit poor communities in Africa where the INC has already established its presence.
Hundreds participated in the 1.6 kilometer walk in Tarlac, including children. Tarlac is one of the more than 200 sites in the Philippines which participated in the simultaneous global march against poverty.
