(Eagle News) — Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Thursday, Aug. 23, said authorities were exerting all efforts to locate Peter Lim and arrest him.
“The police, the NBI, and other law enforcement agencies are exerting all efforts..,” Guevarra said.
According to Guevarra, based on Bureau of Immigration records, Lim has not left the country since March.
On Aug. 14, Makati City Regional Trial Court Branch 65 Acting Presiding Judge Gina Bibat-Palamos issued a warrant for the arrest of Lim, who is facing a case for conspiracy to commit illegal drug trade.
The Department of Justice earlier also filed the charges against Kerwin Espinosa, inmate Peter Co , Lovely Impal and Ruel Malindangan.
The court set the arraignment for Aug. 28.
