Five found guilty of selling drugs in Pasay party in 2016

(Eagle News) — The five people charged following the drug overdose of  five others at a rave in Pasay in 2016 were found guilty of illegal drug possession on Friday.

Paranaque Regional Trial Court Branch 259 Judge Danilo Suarez sentenced Seergeoh Villanueva and Marc Deen to life imprisonment, while  Ericka Valbuena, Tomas Lee Martin Halili, Martin Angelo Dimacali, were  sentenced to jail time of 20 years.

Deen and Villanueva were also each ordered to pay a P5 million fine.

Valbuena, Halili and Dimacali were given a fine of  P500,000 each.

All of the accused except Valbuena were ordered transferred to the New Bilibid Prison, while Valbuena was ordered committed in the women’s correctional facility in Mandaluyong.

Deen and Villanueva were arrested in a buy-bust operation, while the rest were arrested in a condominium unit at Azure Urban Resort Residences in 2016.

The unit was believed to be the group’s drug laboratory.

All five fatalities in the party held at the Mall of Asia grounds were found to have overdosed on party drugs.
