QUEZON City, Philippines – “Felix Manalo” proved to be one of the biggest winners at the recently held 64th FAMAS Awards. It bagged five awards: “Best Actor” for Dennis Trillo’s portrayal of the titular role; “Best Director” for Joel Lamangan; “Best Theme Song” for “Ang Sugo ng Diyos sa mga Huling Araw” performed by Sarah Geronimo; “Best Screenplay” by Brother Bienvenido Santiago. “Felix Manalo” also won the night’s biggest award, “Best Film”.
The prestigious awards night is thronged by a virtual who’s who of the Philippine showbiz industry. Full of glitz and glamour, the country’s brightest stars gathered to give honor to their esteemed colleagues.
