President Rodrigo Roa Duterte checked on Saturday, July 15 the condition of the wounded-in-action (WIA) soldiers from the 21st Infantry Brigade (21IB) of the Philippine Army (PA) and awards them the Wounded Personnel Medal at Camp BGen Teodulfo Bautista Station Hospital in Barangay Busbus, Jolo, Sulu.
The wounded troops were part of the military operations who encountered an undertermined number of Abu Sayaff terrorist group members under Almujer Yada in Barangay Darayan, Patikul, Sulu on July 8.
The Commander-in-Chief also speaks to the members of Joint Task Force Sulu in Camp BGen Teodulfo Bautista following the visit.
