Batangas City (Eagle News) — Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in Batangas held a medical mission on Lubang Island in Batangas on Thursday, May 11.

The team left for their destination as early as 2:45 in the morning.

The INC Batangas Medical and Dental Team—under the leadership of their district minister, Brother Livrado V. Santos, and the assistant district minister, Brother Renel Gravador—traveled for almost three hours to get to Lubang, according to their boatman, Garry Del Mundo.

Prior to this, the team also coordinated with the port manager of Wawa Nasugbu, Mario Magahis, who assisted them upon their arrival.

In separate interviews, residents of Lubang expressed delight they were able to avail of free medical and dental services from the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Aside from free medical and dental services, the residents also received free medicine from the team.
