3 suspected IS members in Malaysia going to Marawi City, nabbed in Sabah, says military officials

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Three suspected members of Islamic State (IS) in Malaysia who were planning to join the ongoing battle to support terrorist groups in Marawi City were arrested by authorities in Sabah, Malaysia.

According to the report from The Malaysian Insight website, the Malaysian authorities seized three Rambo-style knives from the three IS followers.

Authorities said that two of the foreigners were Indonesian while the other is Malaysian.

Joint Task Force Tawi-tawi also confirmed the IS membership of the three.
