‘Fate of the Furious’ set for another US box office win

(Reuters) — “The Fate of the Furious” is poised for another win at the North American Box office from Friday (April 21) through Sunday (April 23). The film is predicted to earn more than $37 million according to BoxOfficePro. It has already garnered more than $685 million worldwide.

New to theaters this week will be “Unforgettable,” starring Katherine Heigl as a bitter ex-wife set for revenge on her husband’s new love. It’s estimated to take in $9 million.

Also opening this weekend will be “Born in China,” a nature film following three animal families. It’s expected to take in $5 million.

Holding over from previous weeks is “The Boss Baby” which is predicted to add $9 million to its global haul of $305 million; and “Beauty and the Beast” which is expected to add another $8 million to its international earnings of more than $1 billion.
