Reuters — A suit-wearing baby showed viewers who’s boss at the box office for the second consecutive week as “The Boss Baby” held on to its top spot at U.S. theaters with a draw of an estimated $26.3 million, according to boxoffice.mojo.com. Featuring the vocal work of Alec Baldwin, the film follows a baby who up-ends a family with his arrival.

Coming in a close second is Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” with an estimated earnings for $25 million during its fourth week.

The Smurfs returned to theaters in the third installment of their franchise about the tiny blue creatures. “Smurfs: The Lost Village” earned an estimated $14 million in ticket sales and landed in third place during their debut at the box office this weekend.

This week’s second newcomer – ‘Going in Style’- came in fourth with a haul of $12.5 million.

Rounding out the top five is “Ghost in the Shell,” that dropped two spots from last week after earning an estimated $7.2 million at the box office.
