EBC Films’ “Guerrero” wins “Best Feature Comedy Film” at the Amsterdam Int’l Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema

EBC’s Films’ “Guerrero” wins the “Best Feature Comedy Film” at the Amsterdam International Film Festival of World Cinema on August 19, 2018. (Eagle News Service)

 

Eagle Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) Film’s Guerrero” won the “Best Feature Comedy Film” award in the recently held Amsterdam International Film Festival of World Cinema.

The film was directed by Carlo Ortega Cuevas and edited by Giancarlo Escamilla. Its cast and production staff are all past winners and participants of the EVM Awards under INCinema of the Christian Family Organizations

The Amsterdam IFFWC Awards Night was held on August 19, 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The award was received by Brother Romeo Marquez, District Minister of Northern Europe and Brother Marvin Adriano, CFO Advisor.

“Guerrero” also received nominations in the following categories: Best Foreign Language Film, Best Feature Comedy, and Best Lead Actor in a Foreign Language Film for Bro. Julio Caesar Sabenorio.

Last July, Guerrero won the Best Editing in a Foreign Language Film at the Madrid International Film Festival.

Last year, Sabenorio won the ‘Movie Child Performer of the Year’ award for Guerrero from the 34th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies.

The Amsterdam International Film Festival of World Cinema is an international film event based in Amsterdam, Netherlands that celebrates film making while bringing together film makers and other personalities from all over the world in the business of film making. It aims to promote cinematographic art by presenting films of quality and entertainment.
