Duterte’s rebuttal vs. De Lima: Every time I view the video, I lose my appetite

(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday (September 26) immediately made a comeback statement for Senator Leila De Lima following her remarks that the Duterte was romantically interested in her due to non-stop tirades to her alleged love affairs.

“Susmaryosep. Alam mo every time I view the video, I lose my appetite. Nawawala ang gana ko sa kanya,” Duterte retorted citing De Lima’s supposed sex video.
“Ang magkaron ng gusto sa kanya ‘yung mga, hindi man ako guwardiya, hindi man rin ako motorcycle cop. Hindi rin ako convict,” he quipped.
The Commander-in-chief also denied De Lima’s wish to stop his supposed harassment.
“Those are serious charges. She should not adopt a nonchalant attitude about all of these things. Kasi I said she opened the portals of narco-politics to take hold in the national level. There will never be an honest election,” the Chief Executive explained.
Duterte even compared the country’s drug situation described in the books The Cartel by Don Winslow and Gangster Warlords by Ioan Grillo.
“You read the cartel, it’s online you can buy it. Ioan Grillo’s another one and you would recoil in horror because it is exactly what we are experiencing today,” he said.
The ongoing House inquiry on the  proliferation of drugs inside the New Bilibid Prison had presented various witnesses seconding Duterte’s allegations that De Lima and a high-profile inmate spent time together at the latter’s kubol.
Duterte earlier revealed that De Lima was the senator who meddled with drug lords and their illegal operations inside New Bilibid Prison
