Duterte to invite China’s Xi to Davao home in November

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte will invite Xi Jinping to his home in Davao when the Chinese leader visits the Philippines in November, the Palace said on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo made the confirmation in an ambush interview.

Xi is expected to visit the Philippines by the end of November, his first visit to the country under President Duterte’s administration.

If his visit to President Duterte’s house will push through, he will have been the second foreign top leader to visit the same.

Last year, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Duterte’s home, where he saw the Philippine leader’s favorite mosquito net.
