(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, Nov. 26, said a probe of the dealings of Senator Antonio Trillanes’ parents with the government was now underway.
“We are investigating quietly ‘yung mga deals sa panahon ng tatay pati ‘yung involved ‘yung nanay. And he [Trillanes] can be very sure na lalabas lahat ‘yan,” the President said in a speech in Davao.
He, however, did not elaborate.
In previous speeches, the President accused Trillanes’ mother of having deals with the Navy even while the now-senator and his father were still in the service.
Trillanes lashed out at Duterte for dragging the name of his mother into the limelight, but did not directly answer the allegations against his family.
