DOH sets aside Php 5M fund to address diarrhea outbreak in Zamboanga City

QUEZON CIty, Philippines – The Department of Health set aside Php 5 million in order to control the spread of diarrhea in Zamboanga City. Said city is suffering from a diarrhea outbreak as the number of patients surpassed alert levels. According to the City Health Office, from March 28 up to now, 1, 207 diarrhea cases were recorded. The outbreak also resulted in five deaths.
