DFA: 10 Filipinos affected by fuel tanker blast in Bologna, Italy

(Eagle News) — Ten Filipinos from three separate families were affected by a fuel tanker explosion just outside Bologna, Italy.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the number includes two minor children and two infants.

The DFA quoted Consul General Irene Susan Natividad as saying the blast blew off the doors and windows of the units of the three families and damaged a number of articles inside.

At least one person died and more than 40 others were injured after the tanker exploded on Monday, Aug. 6.

The blast caused a bridge to partially collapse.
