(Eagle News) — The plebiscite for the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law will be on January 21, 2019.
This is according to Commission on Elections spokesperson James Jimenez, who issued a statement on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
According to Jimenez, special registration activities would be conducted in Bangsamoro “core territories” from Sept. 11 to 13, 2018.
The plebiscite period, on the other hand, was from Dec. 7, 2018 to Feb. 5, 2019.
The campaign period for the ratification begins on Dec. 7, 2018 and ends on Jan. 19, 2019, he said.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government has said the public could now send their comments on the Bangsamoro Organic Law proposed by the Consultative Committee.
