CIDG studying what charges to file vs Dimple Star Transport operators

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said it was studying what charges to file the operators of  Dimple Star Transport, who surfaced on  Friday night.

Nilda and Hilbert Nabat made their first public appearance after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered their arrest three days after one of their company’s buses fell into a cliff in Occidental Mindoro, killing 19.

The couple arrived around 8 p.m. with their lawyer Sammuel Turgano.

According to the couple, they did not renege on their responsibility in the fatal incident.

They said they wanted to show their sincerity in helping those who were affected by the tragedy.

They did not answer questions about the fate of their franchise following the incident..
