VMMC to open its gates to ease heavy traffic

Private vehicles with car passes can pass through Camp Aguinaldo starting Monday

(Eagle News) — Starting Monday, December 12, private vehicle owners who applied for car passes would be permitted to pass through Camp Aguinaldo. This was confirmed by Brig. Manila Mayor Estrada orders mass resignation of 690 traffic enforcers

MMDA to file charges against motorists who illegally park vehicles along public roads

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Metro Manila Development Authority will file charges against motorists who will illegally park their vehicles in secondary roads. According to the MMDA, this said step is reasonable as there are still many violators after clearing operations. The MMDA will also file charges against barangay officials who will allow such illegal parking of vehicles.  

NLEX toll hike may reach 21%

QUEZON City, Philippines – The proposed toll hike of the North Luzon Expressway may reach 21% if their new petition is approved by the toll regulatory board. According to Rodrigo Franco, President and CEO of the Manila North Tollways Corporation, the petition combined earlier petitions from 2013 and 2015, thus the proposed increase may reach 21%.
