Pasugo drive in photos: Field of faith

(Eagle News) — Even in the middle of rice fields, Iglesia Ni Cristo members went out of their way to distribute Pasugo (God’s Message) magazines to their countrymen as they show their unity with the Church Administration’s call to share the faith and the message of salvation.    On Feb. 20, Saturday, all were one as they participated in the worldwide Pasugo drive in preparation for the Feb. 29, 2016 worldwide evangelical mission.

Baybay boulevard, Borongan City in Eastern Samar

(Eagle News) — Baybay Boulevard is one of the many surfing spots in Borongan.   It is situated just east of the city. The coastline begins from loom river delta to Borongan river to the north.  It is accessed via Baybay boulevard and Borongan Bay walk, which runs along the coast for 1.5 kilometers.       Along the route are various kiosks and playground where locals and even kids spend leisure activities.      

Mt. Mogao in Tadian, Mt. Province

(Eagle News) — These photos of Mt. Mogao in Tadian, Mountain Province taken by Eagle News correspondent Erwin Pacardo show the mountain’s serene beauty.  Mt. Mogao stands proudly over three villages in Tadian.  It has a very curious English name.        

Big shellfish found in Maniwaya Island, Marinduque

  (Eagle News) — This huge shellfish was seen by Eagle News correspondent Neil Domingo on the shores of Maniwaya island in Marinduque on February 5, 2016. It was estimated to be one foot-wide.  This kind of shellfish is rare, according to the people living in the area.  Only a few of them remain so residents there have decided to guard this big shellfish found on their shores, according to our correspondent.

Sunrise from Bag-ing Island, Caramoan, Camarines Sur

(Eagle News) — This photo taken by Eagle News correspondent Jimmy Manigbas III show the beautiful sunrise in Caramoan, Camarines Sur.    This was taken from Bag-Ing island, one of the 10 principal islands of Caramoan.   Also seen in the photo are two of the numerous islets off the coast of the peninsula.
