Big oil firms implement price rollback; gasoline slashed by P1/liter; diesel cut by 90 centavos/liter

(Eagle News) — Big oil firms again rolled back their petroleum prices effective 6 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, slashing gasoline prices by P1 per liter, and diesel by 90 centavos per liter.

Continuous roll back of oil prices continued for the fourth week, with this week’s rollback happening almost daily since Sunday, Nov. 4.

Petron, Shell, Caltex, Flying V, Total, and PTT Philippines rolled back petroleum prices effective today, Nov. 6, following other oil players that rolled back their prices Monday, Nov. 5

They also reduced kerosene prices by 65 centavos per liter.

Eastern Petroleum Corp., PetroGazz, Seaoil Philippines and Jetti had also made the same price adjustment effective 6 a.m. of November 5.

From October 15 to November 6, the price of gasoline has declined by P6.20 per liter, diesel by P3.55 per liter and P3.05 per liter for kerosene.

This is because of the continuous downward trend of prices in the world oil market
