Cagayan De Oro representative Rufus Rodriguez, chairman of the ad-hoc committee that will study the Bangsamoro Basic Law guaranteed that it will not be trashed by the Supreme Court.
Rodriguez said that they will go to the affected areas in Mindanao to consult their position regarding the formation of the Bangsamor region, so that they’ll not be faced with the issue of lack of consultation.
The committee has conducted an organizational meeting, where one of the topics discussed is the areas to be visited for consultation.
Said areas include Sulu, Basilan, Tawi-tawi, Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Sibugay, Marawi City, Cagayan De Oro, Iligan and Lanao del Norte.
