India-ASEAN Delhi dialogue set on July 4




 

Eagle News — The 9th India-ASEAN Ministerial Dialogue is scheduled tomorrow (July 4) with the aim to intensify and broaden political, strategic and economic cooperation in the region.

Also known as Delhi Dialogue, the conference has become an important forum where political leaders, policy makers, researchers, academicians, business leaders and media persons converge for brainstorming on a range of issues pertaining to ASEAN-India relations.

The meet will also provide an opportunity to leaders to explore ways to boost cooperation in these key areas of security and economy, and also in the field of connectivity and tourism.

It comes in the midst of evolving security and economic scenario in the region,

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Defense and Foreign Affairs Maliki Bin Osman are mong the leaders expected to attend the meeting.
