(Eagle News)~Former President Benigno Aquino III appeared at the Department of Justice’s preliminary inquiry into the Dengvaxia mess on Monday, June 4.
Former Health Secretary Janette Garin and former Budget Secretary Butch Abad also made an appearance after they were required to subscribe to their affidavits.
Also present were former and current officials of the DOH.
The preliminary probe stems from the criminal charges filed by the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption against the three and several others over the P3.5-billion purchase of the controversial anti-dengue vaccine.
The charges were apart from those filed against them before the Ombudsman also in connection with the mess.
