Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde on Tuesday, Sept. 10, said the police were behind President Rodrigo Duterte, this amid  rumors of an ouster plot against the chief executive.

“Even (the Armed Forces of the Philippines),  wala naman nakikita masama sa ginagawa ng present administration..so we give our full support sa administration..because it follows the Constitution. And the present administration follows the rule of law..,” Albayalde said.

He noted that the police were loyal to the Constitution and to the Filipino people.

“I can assure you, no need ng loyalty check in our ranks..,” he said.

Albayalde made the remark after Duterte revealed the Liberal Party, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Communist rebels were exerting concerted efforts to oust the chief executive by October.

The LP has dismissed Duterte’s claims, calling him a mere “paranoid.”
