(Eagle News) — A 3.0-magnitude earthquake hit Cagayan on Thursday, Jan. 31, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
According to PHIVOLCS, the quake struck 39 kilometers southeast of Gonzaga at 3:52 a.m.
An Intensity I was felt in Gonzaga, PHIVOLCS said.
The earthquake had a depth of 19 kilometers.
It was of tectonic origin.
PHIVOLCS said no aftershocks nor damage were expected.
