21 drug suspects killed by Bulacan Police in overnight buy-busts

(Eagle News) — Policemen killed 21 drug suspects and arrested 64 more in an overnight buy-bust operation in Bulacan on Monday night that lasted until Tuesday morning, a police official said.

Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan provincial police director, said that the buy-bust operation was done with the implementation of two search warrants.

The raids will continue until tonight, August 15, he said.

Caramat also said that a total of 21 firearms and 100 grams of illegal substance were recovered during the operations.

In Marilao, two men, allegedly armed with a revolver and an improvised shotgun, were also killed.

Police also recovered six sachets weighing more or less two grams of shabu from these two men known as Egoy and Tom.

Two drug suspects, who were also allegedly armed and had 50 grams of shabu, were also killed.

The others killed in the buy-bust operations were only identified with their aliases, while some were still unidentified.
